It was cold. It was colder than it has been in a long time for trick-or-treat. Eariler in the day it was raining a freezing rain, but the rain stopped. It didn't get much warmer, but we bundled up in several layers of clothes and headed out with the Comers and Schuler (tradition). The kids didn't seem to mind the cold one bit either. They were very focused on getting candy and filling up their buckets. I love trick-or-treat night and it is even better when you share it with friends.
Fire Fighter Henry and Fighter Pilot Xander
I could not love this little monster more. She really understood this it. She kept asking me, "party?" all day meaning trick-or-treat and then she would go into one of her little one word put together stories that I just love, "purple pumpkin" "knock knock" "treat" "thank you" "candy".
Group Hug
Repunzel (Layna), Fire Fighter (Henry) Fighter Pilot (Xander)
Butterfly (Amelia) Alice in Wonderland (Brinley) Monster (Lily)
We are ready!
There was a house that had drums set up in the garage with a teenager playing and Xander was dancing.
Lily Bug and Dadoo
We are off to a good start.
Protecting his stash.
This is what it looks like when you tell Lily she can't have anymore candy from her pumpkin. She was sobbing, "pumpkin".
